Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our clients by providing personalized care and support. Responsibilities: - Assist clients with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting - Provide companionship and emotional support to clients - Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals - Assist with meal planning and preparation - Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up - Accompany clients to appointments or social outings - Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behavior - Implement behavior management strategies for clients with developmental disabilities or autism - Provide dementia care and support for clients with memory loss - Take vital signs and record health information as needed Skills: - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients - Knowledge of social work principles and practices - Experience in home care or patient care settings - Ability to drive and have a valid driver's license - Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism - First aid certification is preferred but not required This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals in need.
